AUTHOR: ARJUN VAISHNAV Article 303 of the current code prohibits blank spaces in the text of the public deed in order to avoid the addition of data or statements subsequent to the grant made by the parties, thus ensuring the inalterability of the consented text. Article 303 of the new code also prohibits the use of abbreviations or initials, except when they appear in documents that are transcribed or added or are scientific or socially admitted expressions with unambiguous meaning.
